I am SUPREME!

Hey everyone its been a while since i posted but its because I've been bogged down by exams. They are ending soon so i am getting super excited and making plans for summer :) Like i once mentioned when I put an outfit together i tend to have a focal point. Today's focal point is drum roool! Girls of the World

I have been pondering upon the media and how they represent Women, they tend to stir our mindset to one ideal. Thats not Good, I've noticed that from these ideals insecurities and self hate starts to grow. You want to be like her or him or whatever! But that's not right, I've noticed if you love yourself and treat yourself with  respect people are automatically drawn to you.  why? because they see you are Real and confident.
When your mind is bogged down with insecurities it stops you from achieving the full potential of your personality. For example you could be a genuinely happy person, someone who is funny but because you feel you're not good enough no one gets to see that... which is a shame

The point i am trying to make is that THERE IS NO BEAUTY IDEAL. You are beautiful in your own way.. you just have to acknowledge it and feel good in your own skin. Stop wishing to be someone else because you will never be. :)

Every Girls Essentials

Hi everyone, I have a bit of a story for you today. its not particularly exciting but a story is a story, anyway i was on the bus today and my hands felt really dry. I reached for my bag hoping to find my Atrixo deep moisturizing hand cream i carry about. I looked and looked but couldn't find it!!. i kept searching ( i had a big bag today). Eventually i found it and was like YAY!!
you're probably thinking whats the point of this story?? well from this i concluded that every girl should carry around 3 main essentials. Mine are below but it may differ from individual to individual. These things may be a bit more to remember when you are filling your bag up, but they are worth the hassle.

1- Carmex lip balm - this thing is a life saver from dry lips

2- Tissues -you never know when they will come handy!

3- Hand cream - keep your hands moisturized, it helps them look young!

Boys Dont' be scared of shorts!

I recently visited Top man as a friend of mine works there and something caught my eye..  Shorts!. Thoughts of summer immediately rang through my head. There was soo much variety that i was considering getting some myself. I was totally inspired and had to create a Summer-BOY-shorts combo!
Here is my First outfit suggestion for guys.. Hope you like :)

Love the Denim!

Denim shirts are an essential, they can tone an outfit down or they can add to it. My latest denim creation is a cute outfit with a quirky twist. enjoy :)

How to achieve the look!

1) The denim shirt should be baggy and should not be buttoned

2) the white to should be tucked into the Aztec skirt

3) Aztec skirt should be worn at the waist :)

4) accessorize with Aztec Neck lace

5) black socks should be worn with Doc Martens, the Black socks should be seen. place loosely at the top of Doc martens

My fashion Ideology

Fashion for me is  not just about following trends or what is popular for season, it's about expressing who I am honestly before people and  without care. Before i buy something I have to like it and there has to be some sort of vision i want to achieve with it. I find that its really important to me to Buy with Vision or the item you buy could end up being a waste.
Below is the basic process of how i come up with my outfits, with this method you can be as adventurous or as safe as you want. You can try it out sometime on your own,your first challenge could be turning an item that is  lurking at the back of your                                                                                     wardrobe into a stylish/ unique outfit.

How I choose my outfits.
1) The statement piece or focal point
- i find that I am most creative when i pick something random out of my wardrobe that i want to wear, my inspiration statement piece can range from to a pair of earrings to a pair of docs(Doc Martens) or Brightly colored pants. This always challenges me to think up new outfits.

2) work with what you have
- when you've decided on your statement piece, look in your wardrobe to find what compliments it, if you don't have something ... its time to shop!

3) Be happy and comfortable with the outfit you thought of ! and feel great in it.

This is how i do things but everyone is different :)
p.s I also believe in Bargains, shopping around does not hurt!

Fashion Sunshine Debut!

Its spring and my love for fashion is in Full Bloom! Although it is wet and rainy at the moment in my lovely Manchester i pray it gets better! At the moment i am crazy for the current running shoe trend, not only are they super comfortable ,they are very stylish! When i think of Looks i also think about what the Hair Lip and eye makeup that best suits it. enjoy!
